There need to be more professionals with the necessary credentials, experience, and skills to get hired, partly because cybersecurity is evolving rapidly.

Even so, many companies are hesitant to relax their hiring requirements to accommodate hires with the necessary experience but need more formal credentials to fill a particular role.
