Microsoft Surface Pro Availabile: Book before February 9th In U.S. And Canada For $899

Get a Microsoft Surface Pro this month as your late Christmas present, you may be disappointed, since the shipping date has been pushed back slightly, to February 9th, in both the United States and Canada, along with several accessories.Powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, Microsoft Surface Windows 8 Pro provides the power and performance of a laptop in a tablet package and will run all Windows 8 applications as well as current Windows 7 desktop applications.

The Microsoft Surface Pro is the high profile edition of the Microsoft Surface, sporting Windows 8 Pro, and will be available in two models: a 64GB version for $899 and a 128GB model for $999. Both of these drives are solid state, therefore these machines are able to boot Windows 8 in a few seconds, making the Surface perfect for those users who are looking for a great mobile working environment.

On February 9^th, Microsoft intends to ship several accessories for both Surfaces, starting with an external Touch Cover, a screen cover that converts into a keyboard, which already ships by default with the Surface RT. These are quite expensive, selling for $129.99 in the United States and Canada. A Surface Pen is included and makes for an amazing experience for writers, graphic designers or even engineers, and with Palm Block technology writing and drawing is fun for everyone on Microsoft Surface Windows 8 Pro.

For customers who are going to purchase a Surface RT, Microsoft is also putting in the market a version without the Touch Cover keyboard , on February 9^th.This will allow users to choose other forms of input, such as a Type Cover, which features physical keys instead of a touch keyboard.
