The Windows 8 has got the same security level as that of Windows 7 but there are somethings that can be changed in Windows 8 but not in Windows 7 without installing 3rd party tool.

In Windows 7 you cannot change logon screen but in windows 8 you can easily do this. You can use a flash drive to open or unlock your PC and you can also get to know who had tried to access your PC without your permission.

All you need is to get Lock screen pro ( It can be downloaded from the link given at the end . This software works on both 32- bit and 64-bit of Windows 7 and Windows 8. This software enables you to change logon screen, use USB drive as a key to open your PC and it automatically take Pic at the False login every time.

Lock screen pro is a portable application. Once you have installed it you can open it by double clicking on it. Once you have clicked on that a configuration window opens up and shows you multiple options ( Unlock PC with flash/USB drive, change logon screen, capture PC at every false login, hide time and date at login screen…..etc)

Select the settings according to your wil and desire. Once you are done you can lock your PC and you can view pictures taken at every false login.

if you want to re change these configurations you can do it anytime by going into settings tab.

To use USB drive to unlock your PC you need to configure that with lock screen pro. Insert it and then just follow the instruction on screen in lock screen pro. Once you are done you can use to unlock your PC. It will work exactly same as the key when entered in lock opens it.

You can change the background at the login screen. You can select one of the available pictures there or you can select any of your own Picture.

Lock screen pro takes pictures through webcam every time on false login and save it with corresponding time and date. You can view those pic anytime by going into Login photos and by viewing those pics you’ll know you tried to access your PC without permission.
