Good news for all Apple fans, as promised the newer version of Apple’s iOS, iOS 6.0.1 has just released today which will work with all iOS 6.x compatible iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads of course. Back in September Apple had released iOS with bundle of new features packed into it.

In previous version of iOS 6 there were some bugs and problems contained in it but release of iOS 6.0.1 brings performance improvements and bug fixes with it. Some of the bugs and problems that are fixed in iOS 6.0.1 are: Fix for Horizontal lines on keyboard, Fixes for Microsoft Exchange and Passbook Bugs, Fix for Wi-Fi connectivity problems, fixes of error of Camera App and more. We are expecting that the users who are currently on iOS 6.0 will get rid of these anomalies as soon as they will update their devices to iOS 6.0.1.

The biggest criticism of iOS 6 was it’s Navigation Maps App, which was promised by Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, to be fixed soon but for now it is not confirmed by Apple about the improvement of Maps in iOS 6.0.1 but hopefully it will be fixed.

Following are the devices compatible with iOS 6.0.1 (iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2&3, iPad Mini and iPod Touch 4)  and can upgrade their device from their device through Settings > General > Software Update option there or they can download and install firmware via iTunes or though direct Links from Apple given below.
