Apple, being the pioneer of introducing the concept of smart phones to the world, stands highly among the big players in smart phones industry in terms of market share. In the beginning, Apple was successful in delivering suave smart phones with quality features in its smart phones like the original iPhone , iPhone 2g, 3g and iPhone 4. But now the dynamics are changing. There are many other players in the market who are delivering value to the customer at a relatively fair price than Apple. These devices have not only cutting edge technology but also reasonable prices than Apple.On the other hand, Apple, with its new smart phones, is lacking innovation according to many experts. There is a huge contrast between the two phones when it comes to size. Apple iPhone5 is relatively smaller and hence becomes easy to hold in one hand whereas HTC Droid DNA is a handful to operate. Apple is also lighter and thinner than its rival. HTC droid design in a bit modest with tapered design and soft matte casing offers. Apple iPhone5 certainly looks more stylish.

Apple is relying on its iconic recessed button which you cannot press accidently whereas the Droid DNA is using the trio of capacitive buttons and every once in a while one can accidently press the home key or the call key. There is an LED notification light on the front and back of HTC Droid DNA

Processor and Memory

People are very impressed by the power packed features of the HTC Droid DNA. It is newer than the iPhone5. HTC Droid DNA is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip with 2GB of RAM. Whereas the iPhone5 comes with a dual-core 1.3GHz Apple A6 processor with 1GB of RAM. Although the processors look very different from each other but performance of iPhone equally good or may be a bit snappier. The reason is that Sense 4+UI is a bit more graphically intensive than the static look of iOS 6. Both phone perform equally faster in most of the processes.

There is no storage expandability on both the devices, sadly. Infact, Droid DNA only comes in 16 GB model whereas the iPhone is available in 16, 32 and 64GB of memory.

Battery

4G LITE connections consume your battery power to the maximum and only lets you get through with an 8 hour work shift. Both phones have this feature in them. So users have to be extra conscious. But with normal connections, battery life increases with the both phones and they can last for a day if they are fully charged. HTC Droid DNA has an extra feature. It comes with wireless charging via the Qi wireless charging standard.

The Droid has a better front camera and bigger better screen but Apple boasts easy portability with Apple's sleek design.
